Halloween!

Our friend's invited us over on Halloween for a fun little party! We first had dinner, then went to our other friend's house for a carnival. The kids loved it. Kinzie had so much fun. Then we did some trick or treating! Since Kinzie had gotten the hang of it the night before, she was running from house to house! She had so much fun! She got a ton of candy... mostly because she couldn't take just one. She loved it!
She was a little scared of the spooky cauldron.

Here are all the little kids from the party.

Trunk or Treat!

Our ward had our trunk or treat and halloween party on Friday night. Kinzie had such a fun time. She wasn't too sure at first, but once she figured out that everyone was giving her candy... she was totally into it. She tried to say trick or treat, but she just mostly yelled with excitement. This year, our whole family dressed up. Ryan was even into it! So, here are the pics of our family of pirates. The pictures start from the end of the night. (one day I'll get it right)

Yes, she dumped all the popcorn on her lap. Yes, she loved it. Yes, she ate most of it.

Such a cute little pirate!

Pumpkin Patch

We made another trip to the pumpkin patch before Halloween. Kinzie loved it again! We even went down the jumbo slide! She loved feeding the goats, throwing pumpkins, and just running wild.

It was just not possible to get them both to look at the camera.
They thought those pumpkins were there just for them to stand on!

Pumpkin Carving

This year, we went over to our friend's house to carve pumpkins. Kinzie loved running around in the garage with Ezra and getting into just about all of Jon's stuff. We all had a good time and carved some spooky looking pumpkins!

I decided to take Kinzie in to have her pictures done. I did it on a day that Ryan would be home, because he can get the best smiles out of her. We got there and she was so happy. She was playing with the toys and other kids, and we only had to wait 5 minutes. Then the melt down. Kinzie didn't want to leave the waiting room. It was a kicking and screaming fit. So we rescheduled for later that evening. We came back, but waited outside until it was our turn. We got one shot and then a melt down. She was throwing all the props the poor photographer gave her. So, here it the one shot we got. I think the lady felt so bad for us, that she didn't even charge us! So that was a plus. And is just so happened that Kinzie grabbed the letter K, and held it perfectly.... all on her own. So here it is in all it's glory: Kinzie's 19 month picture!

Is it Halloween Yet?!?

We are so ready for Halloween! We have a lot of fun parties and activities planned for this Halloween! Kinzie has a cute little costume all ready to wear. And this year, all the of us are dressing up! (yes, even Ryan!) Last year when we went to our church's "trunk or treat", we did not dress up, and we sure looked out of place! But not this year! It should be a lot of fun. Not much is new with our family. Ryan is doing really well in school. He was bombarded with tests all last week, and managed to get an A on all of them! Oh yeah! We are planning on going to St. George, UT this weekend for a softball tournament that Ryan is playing in. Next week, Kinzie and Ezra start their gymnastics class!

Kinzie's new favorite book is, "No David"... she loves it! When I read it to her, it has to be at least 4 or 5 times, otherwise she throws a fit. Her favorite page is when David picks his nose! She thinks it's so funny and picks her nose too!
Kinzie has gone to the bathroom a few times in her new potty. She is by no means close to being potty trained. She sometimes stands next to the potty and pees. But she thinks it's fun to sit on it and push and grunt!
This is her "Cheeeese" face. Scary, I know. And we are going to have pics done this week. Yikes!
This was my fault. I had just cleaned the sliding glass door. So how could she resist, right?!
